Blooms and Bliss with accents of Copper

At Team training with the Creative Inkers recently, we made this very pretty card featuring the Blooms and Bliss Designer series paper and the Blooms and Wishes stamp set that is part of the same suite.
The colours are delightful together: Sahara Sand, Blushing Bride, Rich Razzleberry and the new In-Colour Sweet Sugar Plum. The accents are copper: a little embossing on the edge of the 'to you' label, and some copper thread behind it.
Other sheets of the DSP include Island Indigo and Mint Macaron which work well together and with the other shades. I am so drawn to the look of this suite, I am tempted to get the co-ordinating ribbons: they really enhance this feminine look. Anyone interested in a ribbon share?

Flamingo Thanks

Today I sat down to make a quick thank you card for customers who order in June. This bright card came together quickly using the new Pop of Paradise stamp set, and gives a welcome injection of the tropics now that winter is definitely here in Cambridge, New Zealand.
I used the new In colours Flirty Flamingo and Emerald Envy, along with Smoky Slate details for the beak and legs, Cucumber Crush leaves and Tempting Turquoise for the banner.
The new Catalogue is live from tomorrow! I will place a link to the online catalogue tomorrow. If you live in New Zealand and would like to get your hands on a hard copy, just email me.

New In-Colours for Custom Printing

One of the exciting new releases in the 2016-2017 Stamping' Up! Catalogue (available late May) is the updated In-Colours. Each year Stamping' Up! introduces five new colours which remain current for two years. These colours are carefully planned to enhance the core range of colours and to be right on trend. This means they will co-ordinate with fashion and d├ęcor items, and make it simple to plan up-to-the-minute projects that work together seamlessly.

Thanks to Caroline Hallett for publishing the updated RGB values on her blog. These include the new In Colours (available in inks, papers, cardstock and embellishments from Stamping' Up June 2016)

I did a tutorial on how to use these RGB codes in an old blog post here. Check in tomorrow for some new ideas using this technique.

Back in the Saddle

Wow, its been awhile! But I am back in the country and currently (mostly) settled in Cambridge, New Zealand. I am unpacking my craft supplies and excited about teaching classes again.
Here is a CASE from the current catalogue... so sad that this lovely stamp set, Summer Silhouettes is retiring at the end of May, as is one of the inks I used, Lost Lagoon.
