I've been working on finishing some scrapbook pages: here is one inspired by a card sample in the latest Impression magazine. If you can make a card, you can definitely make a scrapbook page: its just cardmaking on a slightly larger scale! I taught the flower embellishment at a recent techniques class: it uses the faux suede technique. Its a lovely way to add texture and subtle colour variation to your project. I also used double embossing on the embossed piece, after stamping it with a flourish in Sahara Sand. This adds a further level of detail.

Cardstock: Pear Pizzazz, Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla
Inks: Sahara Sand, Basic Black, Rich Razzleberry
Stamp Set: Baroque Motifs
Embellishments: Very Vanilla brad, Rich Razzleberry grosgrain ribbon, clear embossing powder
Tools: Trimmer, Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, heat gun, crimper, oval punch, circle punch, 5 petal flower punch, bone folder, snail, glue dots, brayer, snips.
